| Dr.
Mucci's a graduate of the Temple University School of
Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has completed
a general surgical residency at the Medical College of
Ohio in Toledo, where he served as chief resident his
senior year.
He
then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at John
Hopkins/University of Maryland in Baltimore, where he
was chief plastic surgery fellow his final year.
He
also completed a craniofacial, maxillofacial and microsurgery
fellowship (for face, head and jaw) at the Shock Trauma
Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr.
Mucci has written numerous articles for scientific journals
and have presented research at national and international
meetings related to plastic surgery. He is on staff
at William
Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Troy, where he
is actively involved in teaching surgical residents
and students.
He
is certified by the American
Board of Plastic Surgery and the American
Board of Surgery. Dr. Mucci is also a member of
the American
Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons,
the American
Medical Association, the Michigan
State Medical Society and the Oakland
County Medical Society.
